A trophy to recognize
the Para-Equestrian High Performance Athlete.
Olva Stewart Pharo has been commissioned
to create a bronze of Jonathan Wentz on NTEC Richter Scale
to grace the trophy.
Mrs. Pharo is donating her time and craft.

This trophy has been established in memory of
Paralympian Jonathan Wentz.
Jonathan, who was born (11/15/1990) with cerebral plasy,
had the distinction of being the
highest placed American equestrian
at either the 2012 London Olympic or Paralympic Games.
He finished fourth in the Individual Test
and fifth in the Freestyle Test in Grade 1b
competition riding NTEC Richter Scale.
The US Team was seventh place overall.
Jonathan died 09/30/2012 at the age of 21.
To honor Jonathan and other determined
and inspiring Para-Equestrians in
dressage, driving, reining, vaulting or jumping
the trophy is be awarded each year
at the USEF Annual Convention.
